When we set up this website, it was for the purpose of attracting Chinese students who wanted to learn English, and for English speakers who desired to learn more about the Middle Kingdom, as China calls itself.

Somehow that never happened.

Life got in the way, MAGA and MAFA contributed to the general malaise that overtook our enthusiasm, but then came COVID.

We will be repurposing this site to better use as time goes on.
